TRADING PSYCHOLOGY

Before starting the chapter devoted to the psychology it has to be noted that the author of this course is a "system analytic", i.e. he supports the opinion that market trading is the work of mechanic trading system (see chapter 6 of this course). Nevertheless the author strongly recommends this chapter to all (including future "system analytics"), because the "human factor" should be taken in consideration in any case. Moreover it would be criminal negligence to forget about trading psychology. In the long run it is a human who trades. Even if the operation itself works with the help of robot. But a human opens an account and installs this robot. He allows to the robot to trade exactly at this moment. He sets exactly this settings. The human can interfere the robot work etc. In the long run, the human at the certain moment can take too much money from the account, that will block the robot work. That is why it is very important to meet with psychological aspects of trading.
The second note is about psychotherapy. When a human feels dissonance between what he would like to feel (in the most general sense) and what he feels in reality, and also between how he would like to behave (in different situations or in certain spheres of life) and how he behaves in reality - he visits psychotherapist. There are lots of opinions and gossips and fantasies about the process of psychotherapy. Also there are lots of schools and movements of psychotherapy. We will not regard all this. It is important to understand the general and main task of psychotherapy (no matter what movement or method is used by a specialist). This task can be described as follows: to help to a human to understand what does exactly happen to him and why with the aim to give him a possibility to make conscious choice of handling this situation.
The same task we will pose to our course. From our point of view, a trader must know (or at least have an idea) of the influence of psychological factors on him to have a possibility to make conscious choice: to resist to this or to use it like a resource.
There are dozens of fundamental articles and hundreds of scientific books about the psychology of the trade and the psychology of a trader. Nevertheless, we think that this question is not developed well enough. However there will not be any possibility in near future to work out this question reasonably, and the cause of it is rather simple: it is about human psychology, where there are lots of things unstudied yet. It will not be possible to describe in normal size at least general ideas, worked out by the scientist-psychologies with traders, that is why we can only recommend you to meet with those sources that will shed light to this question.
In our course we will note in the most general sense the typical difficulties of a trader, and to propose some ways of handling problems
